* Peas and carrots can also be an add in. These are just the basic ingredients that I use for mines.

It is best advised to cook your rice a day prior to actually making the fried rice. This allows it to sit over night in the fridge and have more of a "grainy" versus a "mushy" texture. In my honest opinion, this is not only easier to cook but it also makes the rice taste better. Sometimes I may not use the rice until a few days after letting it sit in the fridge.
